A small bottle of hand-blown glass, paler and thinner-walled than its larger counterparts, sealed with a cork or waxed-cloth stopper. Common among apothecaries for tinctures and oils, and occasionally carried by travelers for a flask of wine or medicine. The glass is naturally bubbly and may have slight striations; breakage in transit is an ever-present concern.
