Feathers

Down and flight feathers harvested from waterfowl, sorted and bundled for sale to pillow-makers and craftspeople. A merchant trades feathers by weight; they stuff quilts, pillows, and armor padding, or are bound as fletching for arrows. The finest down commands high prices; coarser feathers are used for bedding and insulation in working folk’s homes.
