Goblet, pewter

A pewter goblet cast in a stemmed form, finished with a slight burnish that catches light at formal tables where a merchant or minor lord wishes to display more ceremony than common drinking vessels allow. Pewter is affordable enough for a craftsman to own yet substantial enough to impress, and does not break as readily as glass. The foot is sturdy, the stem thin but durable, and a dent or two from careless service adds to rather than diminishes its character.
