Hide, Rabbit

Tiny soft fur pelt; lined winter hoods and muffs by furriers. Price is for one whole skin.

A rabbit or hare pelt—tiny, light, and soft—dried whole by hunters and trappers. Furriers collect bundles of these skins to line winter hoods and muffs; single skins are sewn into strips and pieced. The fur is warm but fragile, unsuitable for heavy wear.
