Holy Symbol, iron

Forged iron token of a god, plain and heavy; a smith's or soldier's symbol.

A token of a god cut and forged from iron, plain and unlovely and nearly indestructible. It is the symbol of those whose gods are not gentle, and of anyone who cannot afford better — smiths, soldiers, and the harder sort of pilgrim. Iron costs almost nothing; what is paid is paid for the forging.
