Rope, 3” hemp, per ft (8,000 lb cap.)

Massive cable for anchoring vessels and hoisting siege equipment.

This immense cable is woven from four to six strands of heavy cordage twisted together, each as thick as a man’s wrist. Used to anchor vessels to moorings, hoist siege equipment, or bind logs for transport downriver, three-inch hemp is the province of ship-masters, engineers, and fortress stewards. New line can hold twice its marked weight before snapping.
