A light spear with a barbed, leaf-shaped head designed for soft-target hunting and skirmish. The reverse barbs grip flesh and make removal agonizing, useful against hunters and loose bands; it bleeds heavily. Warriors carry several, throwing them to wound and disrupt before closing with sword and shield. Less effective against mail, but devastating to the unarmoured.
